SUMMARY The Welder is involved in the joining of pipe, and other piping components.

Start: ASAP Location: Fabrication Shop - Acheson Shift: (4&3) Days (Mon-Thurs, 10-hour days) Hourly Rate: $46.66/hour $58.16/hour (Inclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, RSP matching, and education and training) Outdoor Premium: Additional $3.00/hr

JOB DUTIES Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards Read and interpret weld procedures to determine requirements of the job Utilize different processes and fillers depending on the Client requirements Utilize different processes and fillers depending on the Client requirements (6010,7018 electrodes or flux core wire) Clean and check weld for defects Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings May perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS Must be an Alberta registered ticketed journeyman and hold a valid B-Pressure ticket CSTS-09 and/or CSTS-20 Able to work well in a team environment Must be physically able to lift 50lbs Organized and self-motivated Must have experience in roll welding using flux cored wire process on Groove welds and Fillet welds.
