We’re Hiring: Role : Welder Fabricator (Shop & Mobile) Job Type : Full-Time Job Location : Dashwood Responsibilities Include: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and shop sketches Fabricate, fit, and weld steel and aluminum components accurately Perform welding processes including SMAW (Stick), GMAW (MIG), and GTAW (TIG) Perform carbon arc gouging for weld repairs and joint preparation Fit and weld structural and miscellaneous steel to CWB requirements Perform aluminum welding (MIG and/or TIG) Operate shop equipment (saws, grinders, ironworker, plasma table, forklifts) Perform mobile welding and on-site repairs as required Maintain workmanship, safety standards, and a clean work area Follow all Health and Safety and McCann Group policies and procedures Additional responsibilities as required Qualifications: 3–5+ years experience as a Fabricator / Welder Ability to pass or maintain CWB welding certification Proven experience with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and gouging Experience welding carbon steel and aluminum Strong blueprint reading and fitting skills Comfortable working in shop and field environments Valid driver’s license required What We Offer: Competitive compensation package based on applicant experience Paid benefits package Pension plan Overtime opportunities, when available Safety-first culture and an overall positive Team Yellow company culture Safety and tool allowance Community involvement Apply Now: Qualified applicants should apply online at www.THEMcCANNGROUP.CA or by email to [email protected] We appreciate the interest of all applicants; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
